Primary Liability
Primary Liability Insurance, also referred to as Auto Liability, is usually the most costly portion of any trucking company's insurance package. Primary Liability covers the truck owner’s financial responsibility for damage or injuries to other people as a result of truck accidents. Primary liability coverage is typically provided to drivers by the motor carrier while under their dispatch. This coverage is also mandated by the State and Federal agencies. A form of proof is required to be sent to them.
The National Truckers Association’s Primary Liability Small Fleet Truck Insurance Program has been exclusively designed for the transportation industry. Our program specializes in insuring for-hire transportation risks, fleet and non-fleet truck operations. This program provides complete coverage for trucking companies.
